Built
smarter.
Not just
different.
Eight years of making every mistake possible, running the data on why, and rebuilding from what held up. Hybrid athlete. Powerlifter. I got here the slow way, treating every training block like a hypothesis worth testing.
Master's in Applied Data Science from USC, which mostly means I will absolutely open a spreadsheet to understand why your squat went backwards for three weeks. Every program runs on what you're actually logging: output trends, RPE notes, recovery signals, wearable data if you have it. If you don't track anything yet, that's fine too. We start where you are.
Background
The grind
was the curriculum.
Powerlifting for eight years, figuring out load management the hard way. Eventually built a joint load calculator when the research finally made sense of why things kept breaking down.
Hybrid athlete. Working toward marathon distance. I live in the overlap between the barbell and long-distance training, where programming has to be intentional or one destroys the other.
NASM-CPT. Undergrad in Economics and Mathematics. I work with people who are tired of programs that feel like guesswork and want to actually understand what's happening in their training.
"I built tools to understand why the same pace felt harder at my bodyweight than at a lighter friend's. That's the kind of coach I am. I want to understand the physics before I give you a cue."

The Approach
Agile training.
Iterated every block.
Most programs get written once and handed over. Mine gets rewritten at the end of every block based on what you actually did, not what the template assumed you'd do. If your numbers dipped week three for the past two cycles, I want to know that before I write week three again.
Readiness, volume tolerance, life getting in the way. It all factors in. Work stress, poor sleep, a week where everything felt heavy. If something shifts, we catch it before it snowballs.
Fixed 12-week template
→Iterative blocks,
adjusted per debrief
Check-in once a week by form
→HRV · readiness · output · sleep

→RPE modeled against

Nutrition as a separate add-on
→Macros anchored to output data,

Same framework for every client type

Who I work with
Seven types of athlete.

01
The Strength-Focused
Powerlifters, competitive or not. Periodization built around your numbers. Eight years in, I know what accumulates and what burns out.
02
The Hybrid Athlete
Lift heavy and run far without one destroying the other. Hyrox, barbell, long runs. I program the interference, not just the workouts.
03
Body Recomposition
Goal is to change how your body looks and performs. We track the actual variables: composition trends, strength output, and the nutrition data that drives both.
04
The Time-Constrained
Demanding career, limited recovery window. Programming built for efficiency over volume. Four well-placed sessions beat six mediocre ones.
05
Older Adults & Beginners
Not every program should start at 80% intensity. Building the foundation first: how you move, what your joints can handle, what keeps you coming back. That's actually the hard part.
06
The Injury-Aware
I built a joint load calculator because I needed to understand the biomechanics of my own breakdown. Training around pain or coming back from injury.
07
Asian & Asian-American
Dietary context, food culture, family constraints. Nutrition guidance that doesn't assume chicken and broccoli. Full coaching in Mandarin available.

Apply below
Fill out the short intake form. I review each one personally and follow up within 48 hours. Founders Beta is the only plan available without a prior call.
02
Onboard in Everfit after your call
Once we decide it's a fit, you get an Everfit invite. That's where we set up your onboarding call, where your program lives, and where you can reach me between sessions.
03
Program delivered in Everfit
Your first block lands in the Everfit app. Exercise library, video demos, logging interface. Most clients are live within a week of the call.
04
Weekly debrief cycle
Each week I review your logged data, RPE notes, and wearable data if applicable. The next week either runs as planned or gets adjusted before you see it. Direct messaging throughout.
05
Block review, next cycle built
At the end of each block we look at what actually happened: where strength moved, how your body responded, what the numbers say. The next block gets built from that, not from what I assumed before seeing it.

Common
questions.
Do I need a specific gym or equipment?
No. Programs are built around what you have access to: barbell gym, commercial gym, home setup. The programming adapts.
Do I need a wearable or fitness tracker?
No. Wearable tech is a plus. I'm actively building direct wearable API integration into the platform right now. Tracking nothing yet is also fine. We build the data picture from session output, RPE logs, and recovery check-ins. The methodology works with what you have.
How does the application process work?
Every plan starts with the short intake form below. I review each application personally and follow up within 48 hours if it looks like a good fit. From there we'll schedule a call to talk through goals, format, and investment. Nothing is confirmed until we've both decided it makes sense. Founders Beta is the one plan you can also lock in directly.
How is this different from a training app?
An app gives you workouts. It can't look at your output trend over a mesocycle, compare it against your recovery signals, and make a call before the next week starts. The debrief and the adjustments — that's where the actual work happens.
What if I travel a lot?
Travel blocks get programmed in advance. Continuity over perfection. A week in a hotel gym doesn't have to break the block if it's accounted for.
Can I train with a partner?
Yes. Separate programs, shared accountability structure. Mention it in your application and ask about partner rates.
How quickly can I start after the intro call?
Once we confirm the fit, you'll receive an Everfit invite to schedule your onboarding session and get set up. Most clients are live with their first program within a week of that call.
Coaching is provided by a NASM-certified personal trainer (CPT). Nutrition guidance is general wellness support and is not provided by a registered dietitian — clients with specific medical dietary needs should work with an RD. Consult a qualified healthcare professional before beginning any exercise program, particularly if you have a pre-existing condition or injury. Results vary based on individual effort, adherence, and other factors. By applying you confirm you are 18 or older. Full terms at tools.yunvo.fit/terms.html.
